You've been warned. I saw this on the front page of a new magazine some time ago and believe it will happen. With as much interest that pResident Bush has in Iraq I wouldn't put it past him to declare the country our 51st state. In his previous radio address a week ago Bush said Iraq or Iraqi 23 times. He talked throughout the address about Iraqi schools and how they're being rebuilt. Well, what about us? This latest address he has said Iraq or Iraqi atleast 21 times. In both addresses he has not said a single thing about this country. It's all about Iraq. This only completely confirms my suspicions all along that we went there for the oil. Bush, you need to quit playing in Iraq and come back to this country and solve our problems. And don't give me this nonsense about how a stable Iraq is in our best interest. We were doing just fine while Saddam was running his country. We were doing quite well until you came along. How is it in our best interest to have a stable Iraq? What will we gain from it? The only thing I see is that we'll gain oil. We won't be safer because al Qaeda is not based there. Osama bin Laden is still on the loose. North Korea is still threatening nuclear weapons. Having a stable Iraq will not solve these problems. I have this simple question: If North Korea and Iraq were still the same, but North Korea had the oil. Which country would have we gone after? Anyone who decides to answer this message should only answer with the name of the country; not some lengthy five-minute long babbling about this and that. Just the country name and nothing more. I will have a poll availabie once I find out how to place one. Now, you keep talking about that country and the progress we're making there, but what about here? What kind of progress is being made here? How many new jobs have been created? Were any new jobs created? |
