Is it me or does anyone else think of 'fatherland' when they hear 'homeland'? If we're not careful we could be saying Fuhrer instead of President. I don't really know why, but I don't like the word 'homeland' when referring to the United States. Bush no doubt came up with the word 'homeland'. And remember that this is the same man that once said 'there ought to be limits to freedom.' He also talked on three different occasions about being a dictator. Limits to freedom, eh? Does that sound like democracy and the American way? That sounds like something Hitler would say. So, the next time you see Bush you know how to greet him properly. |
