pResident Bush made a speech before the United Nations this morning. Before he talked he had to sit down in a chair and rest his greedy feet first.
Here are my comments and questions:
- Of course he starts off with 9/11; as always.
- Bush said terrorists should "have no friend in this chamber" referring to this group assembled. Well, terrorists have a friend in that chamber. Bush and his family have done business with the bin Laden's before.
- Bush says about the Taliban, "the regime is no more." Bush, you need to be checking in on Afghanistan before you talk about the Taliban.
- "Iraq is free." Free from what? Free from electricity, yes. Free from food, yes. Free from a stable economy, yes; no wait, that's us here.
- $1,200,000,000 for Afghanistan and $87,000,000,000 for Iraq. Why such a big difference in amounts?
- He says terrorist "made Iraq a central front in the war on terror." That's wrong; Bush created a power vacuum by removing Saddam and waiting too long to replace him. Meanwhile, the terrorists moved in.
- I noticed something. Security Advisor Rice was listening to an interpreter during the speech. Which interpreted language was she listening to and why?
- What does the middle East have to do with Iraq and why did he bring it up?
- "Iraq needs and desereves our aid." I don't know about you Bush, but I'm far more concerned about our future than that of Iraq's.
- Bush wants the U.N. "to criminalize the proliferation of weapons." Does that include us or is the U.S.A. exempt?
- Do you really think that dirty old men like yourself are going to give up the "sex trade", Bush?
And there you have it; 25 minutes of my life I'll never be able to recover or use productively.
I have one final thought for you Bush. If you want Iraq so badly why don't you give up now and let a Democrat take over the affairs of this wonderful country and you can go play in the sand over there. I'm sure the Iraqis would love to have you close to them so they can show you how they feel.

That's a big number, 304. That's how many lives have been lost so far in this quest for oil in Iraq. When will it end? How many lives will it take for Iraq to be free from the obvious occupation? How many lives will Halliburton demand be sacrificed so they can drill?
Most importantly, how many funerals has/will Bush attend? Even in early April instead of attending the funeral of Sgt. Nicolas M. Hodson, 22, of Smithville, Mo., he opted for a photo op at a Marine base. Bush was at Camp LeJeune while the funeral was in nearby Richlands. What kind of President puts his ego above the lives of the men who went into battle on his command?

6th paragraph
Bush skips out on a Soldier's wake for a fundraiser. Is money and oil that important to this guy?

http://www.fairandbalanced.us/docs/StoryID678.htm
I couldn't find any evidence of Bush ever attending a serviceman's funeral by searching with Google. The only article CNN comes up with is Bob Hope's funeral. Even FOXNews can't produce an article about Bush being at a funeral.
What gives? You conservatives and whatever piss on us for not supporting the war and the troops, right? Well, here's your boss pResident Bush living it up at fundraisers while the troops we are supporting are dying and being buried. He doesn't have the guts to even think of showing himself at a funeral. How much do you think he supports them if he can't even show respect for them?

Hooray for Sen. Edward Kennedy

This man's got balls big enough to say what needs to be said. Meanwhile, Bush's balls are cowering under his desk afraid they'll get stepped on by Security Advisor Rice.
The wonderful Democratic Senator from Massachusetts said Thrusday that the war was 'made up in Texas' for political gain to benefit Republicans. He also said Bush and his cronies have failed to account for half of the $4,000,000,000 that's going to pay for this war each month.
He says the missing money is likely going to foreign leaders as bribes to send troops. I don't think this is the case. Knowing Bush and how desperate he is for money, oil, and power I'll bet it's going into his and other Republicans' pockets.
He also said there was no immediate threat from Iraq. Anyone could tell you that except for Bush. Bush now says there's no link between Iraq and Al Qaeda. It would be nice if he had a news conference that went like this:
"Listen folks. I lied to y'all. I lied and I took money from y'all. I stole the election and I had to come up with the money to pay off the guys that helped me 'win.' Iraq was the easy way out. All those lush oil fields were calling out to me saying, 'free us, liberate us and we'll give you all the oil you could ever hope for.' Being the moron that I am I listened to the voices from Iraq and launched this phoney war to liberate them. I wish I could say I did it for our great country, but I can't. I did it for my own personal greed."
Of course the White House had no comment to the Senator's statements. That's most likely because Bush was either asleep in his baby crib or they needed time to cook up for sorry-ass excuse about how 9/11 is involved.
The pretzel lives...Impeach the Shrub!!!

Everyone's up in arms about the Patriot Act. And after watching a CNN report I know why.
My biggest concern with this Act is that the FBI and others can come into my home without me here and search the place. If I'm not here at the time then what's to stop them from planting something to incriminate me with? Or better yet, what's to stop them from taking whatever they want? As far as I'll know when I come home it will look like I was professionally robbed.
The stuff I have in my house is all mine and it's all legal. I don't have any drugs or even cigarettes and booze.
And the wire-tapping: What's to stop them from abusing that also? You know they're bound to abuse these powers sooner or later. You know what power does to someone, don't you?
I can clearly understand why everyone's turning against the Act. This country is becoming something other than a democracy with Bush and his cronies running the show. We need to bump him out next year and be certain Florida is not a deciding factor on the election. Otherwise his brother will let him keep his job and we'll get even more freedoms taken from us.
And guess what, they're working now on the Victory Act. Say good-bye to even more freedoms with this one.
Remember, Bush is the same guy who once said 1999 "there ought to be limits to freedom" when talking about a web site about him.

Bin Ladens flew, Bush knew
For about three days after the September 11th attacks all air traffic was halted. All except for at least one aircraft that was allowed to go around the country and scoop up about 24 bin Laden relatives and other Saudis. It's also reported that they were allowed to leave the country. Why were they allowed to fly while all other air traffic was grounded? They weren't even interviewed by the FBI before leaving.
Doesn't this raise a few red flags? Don't believe it? Check out these links:

Shock and Awe
Is that enough reading material for you?
Now, why on Earth would the government allow bin Laden's relatives to leave the country just after the terrorist attacks? All this raises a point or two. Why did Bush seemingly stop tracking down Osama? Where is Osama really at?
I don't think he's hiding in a cave somewhere. If Bush would let his family leave the U.S. then I'll bet he's also let Osama live somewhere without being bothered. And I'll bet Bush knows exactly where bin Laden is at. They may have even been in contact recently. It's no secret that Bush's father was (and may still be) business partners with the bin Laden's through the Carlyle Group.

Now don't go getting all biblical on me just yet. I know I'll burn in hell for all eternity so I don't need you to remind me of what's waiting for me when I die. Just read this through before you start ranting. You will be surprised.
Why do I say Satan needs a vacation? He's a busy guy who hasn't taken a break for a few thousand years. He's been working feverishly to make everyone's life miserable without any thought for himself.
So, I propose we all come together one day soon and give him a break.
We should all do our part to not commit evil acts on that day. No sin of any kind. No murder, no hate, no violence, no greed, no lies, no lust, no deceit, no betrayal, no rape, no stealing. No evil thoughts or deeds of any kind for one whole day.
You may think Satan doesn't deserve some time away from his work, but if we do this for him and ourselves the world will be a much better place; if only for one day.
I don't know what day this should occur on, but it shouldn't be during a weekend, or during any kind of holiday. It should be on a normal day where every one goes about their daily routine, but without a single bit of evil in their hearts.

Here are some positive reenforcement statements and chants for all you Yuppies out there. With this meditation session the world can be better place.
Here we go...
Sit quitely at your desk or wherever you are and concentrate on the words. I know this will be hard with your busy lifestyle, but damn it you need to start slowing down sooner or later.
Ohm...
I am at peace.
Ohm...
I will stop and smell the roses.
Ohm...
I will enjoy my work and my leisure time.
Ohm...
I will make an effort to have more leisure time.
Ohm...
I will enjoy my friends more.
Ohm...
I will be more friendly to those who aren't as well off as I am.
Ohm...
I will read, re-read, and obey all local traffic laws.
Ohm...
I will not be in a hurry all of the time.
Ohm...
I will not cut others off in traffic.
Ohm...
I will not tailgate the driver in front of me.
Ohm...
I will not do 80 in a 60 zone because my funeral hasn't been set up yet.
Ohm...
I will not turn right on a red light even though it is legal without first checking for pedestrians trying to cross.
Ohm...
I will use my turn signals even though it will take extra effort and energy to move my hand to do so.
Ohm...
I will invite my lesser known friends to the big parties.
Ohm...
I will not beat and humiliate my children in public.
Ohm...
I will give up soccer because that ball is just too damn hard and hurts my head.
Ohm...
I will also give up my huge gas-guzzling SUV for a more fuel-efficient, smaller car.
Ohm...
I will detach the cellular phone from my ear and throw it away.
Ohm...
I will do my makeup or eat my lunch before I leave for work instead of while driving.
Ohm...
I have stopped and smelled the roses.
Ohm...
And they smell good.

This is my account of where I was that morning and what my first thoughts were.
When I first saw video of the first tower damaged I thought it was the new air-traffic tower Sea-Tac airport was constructing. I only briefly saw the image as I was getting ready for work. It looked to me like the top of the tower was clipped off and something hit the side.
As we were driving to work the radio reported smoke coming out of the Pentagon.
When I arrived at the airport we saw that they were blocking off the roads and closing the place. I still wasn't quite sure what had happened so I had my friend drop me off on a surface next to the airport and I walked in.
Upon reaching my worksite I was told what had happened and that the airport was closed. A few hours later I left work because there was no work to do.
When I got home an hour or two later I saw the video of the towers falling. I had only known before that time that the towers were hit and still standing. That really got my attention there.
Now it's two years later. There seems to be bickering about the area where the towers stood and what to place there. To me, that's a grave site and should be treated as such. A memorial and park should be placed there and nothing more.
The terrorists (sorry for saying this) chose the perfect weapons to carry with them on-board. Those boxcutters they used have very little metal in them. They are very difficult to pick up on x-ray and would never set-off a walk-through metal detector. Your watch probably has over four times the metal and it doesn't set-off the walk-through, does it?
Now, people almost immediately blamed airport screeners for the 'breach' by allowing boxcutters through. How can you find what's almost invisible to see. The only way you'd find all boxcutters and to physically search all passengers and bags by hand.
Also, take note that any single-edge knife that was 4 inches or less in length was allowed through the checkpoint. This was not the screening companies' decision or even the screeners' decision. That's what FAA allowed. I still clearly asking why knives were allowed through on the first day I worked at a checkpoint. I always thought no knives were allowed period.
I was a passenger screener for just over a year and operated a CTX-5500DS baggage scanner for over 3 years. I know how to do the job and what to look for. I loved my job; unlike some of the other screeners. They didn't do a good job because the pay was terrible for what we did. And supervisors only got a dollar more than the screeners so some of them didn't care. The real problem wasn't the screeners; it was the ones paying them.
Only after 9/11 did we start to see raises and wages that reflected our responsbilities. But, by then it was too late. They first went after Argenbright and then the rest of us. The Transportation Security Administration was created. They came promising us a job, but very few of us passed their irrelevant test. In my group of 9 only 1 passed. That doesn't mean we're stupid; that just means we weren't what TSA was looking for.
As a side note we were all promised a bonus if we stayed until the end of our contract before TSA took over our positions. I'ts now nearly a year and we still haven't seen that bonus. Where did it go, or better yet who did it go to?
I signed a paper I wouldn't discuss the test, but I will say this: In my opinion the test was geared towards people who were willing to suck up to their bosses and try to get supervisory and managerial positions. I didn't want to be a supervisor then so I didn't make it. The one person in my group that passed was also working at the CTX. Now she's a passenger screener. So, she didn't get a better or even the same deal. She got demoted, go figure...
And this color-code threat level has to be the biggest joke of all. We've had several times where the threat level should've been raised, but it wasn't. Then, other times that we didn't need it raised they did so. Whose threat level is it anyway?

Here are my thoughts on Kobe Bryant and what happened in his room that night.
I honestly believe him when he says the sex was consensual. From what I read some time ago she went to his room after she got off of work and stayed there for 90 minutes.
Now, why on Earth would she go to his room after ending her shift? I seriously don't think it was to get an autograph. And why was she there for 90 minutes? We know what happened there. It doesn't take 90 minutes to write down your name on a sheet of paper.
Also, why is she so determined to keep her identity a secret? Why is she hiding or what does she have to hide? I just find that very odd.
This will become another media circus like O.J. Simpson. I, for one, don't care about the case. That's not my concern what happened in that romm that night. I see that there was sex between two consenting adults; big deal.
The real reason why I think she is suing him is because he probably promised her something in the heat of the moment. When he failed to follow through she responded by suing him. Or, she just saw him in the hotel and immediately saw dollar signs, not him or his crotch. Some people will do anything for moeny.
And that's the way I see it...

Before I begin, I wish to apologize if I anger anyone with this article. You may not agree with me, but some (if not all) of what I say here is true. And sometimes the truth hurts.
What is happening here? 'Sexual predators' are being harassed, stalked, taunted, and chased. These are people just like you and me. They deserve all the things we have: a home, money, a job, friends, and more importantly a life!
Yes, they are what they are, but they can't help it without getting help and support from the people around them. Most of these people have chosen to do the things they do (those could be the worst), but the rest have little to no control over their thoughts and/or actions. I'm not going to disclose my sexual preference (it is legal (depending on your own opinion) if you must know), but I do know how some of these 'predators' feel. I don't act out or go after anyone, but the thoughts are there. And those thoughts can be very strong too. I didn't choose to be this way; God made me this way. Again, my situation doesn't pertain to this article, but if you wish to know more or argue with me about it contact me using the link on the left. I'll be more than happy to tell you why I strongly believe my situation is not by choice.
Basically, I'm just saying that these people need help, not isolation and humiliation. You should know that can only make things worse.
This is becoming a modern-day witch hunt, or 'sex hunt'. I've read about one man who served his time and tried to return to society. Well, society wouldn't take him back it seemed. He got a job and the media jumped right on it. They reported where he worked. They didn't seem interested in his progress or his job performance. All they were interested in was that there was a 'sexual predator' working at a gas station (I believe). He got fired becuase of the attention.
Now, how can he get back into society and show he's no longer a threat if people only want to see him as a bad person intend on harming others? How much harm can he cause at a gas station? Is he going to fondle the gas pumps in front of customers? That comment may be humorous, but that's not the purpose here.
Then there's the guy from California who wanted to move to Olympia, Wa. California didn't want him and Washington wouldn't take him. Where is he supposed to go? He has to be able to live somewhere. Would you say that since he's such a bad man he doesn't deserve to live anywhere and thus doesn't deserve to live at all? If so, who are you to say he is to die? If you think this way you are more of a monster than him! As I understand it he underwent castration. What can he do even if he's a threat? He's got no 'tools' to perform his evil deeds with.
There's also a half-way house King county wants to set up for 'sexual predators'. Again, no one wants them. Where are they supposed to go? You can't just push them aside like that half-eaten bagel you had left behind this morning. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it will go away.
Realistically, everyone's worried about the ones in prison that will get out in the future, the ones that escaped, or the ones that are on the registry. The ones parents should really be concerned about are the 'sexual predators' they don't know about, not the ones they are aware of and can track. Isn't it been said that a majortity of abductions of children are done by people they know? Don't worry about that 'sexual predator' that just moved in across the street. Worry about the neighbor you've known for ten years. Worry about your babysitter you never really checked out. Worry about the other people you see on a regular basis.
I don't want people to start getting paranoid with their neighbors. I just want to raise a point that you should be paying better attention to everyone and everything around you and your children.
Also, parents need to take more responsibility in watching their children. I've seen countless times in department stores little kids running around clearly not under control. Their parents are somewhere else or not paying attention to what the kids are doing. They very easily wander off and it only takes one second out of your sight for them to disappear. Then you start frantically searching for them. During that time you're cussing them instead of yourself. Why should you be cussing yourself? Because you weren't doing what you should've been doing. You weren't watching your children and keeping them safe. No one is going to watch your kids for you in a store; that's your responsibility.
Now, if you've gotten this far in the article you either agree with me or wanted to read through and have reference material to attack me with. If you want to attack me then you've learned nothing from this article. I'm not a threat to you and/or your children. I'm not even a threat to your husband or wife. I'm just trying to get you to see that you shouldn't be going after those who've made mistakes and learned from them. I haven't made any of those mistakes because I'm not a rapist or pedophile. So, re-read the article and learn.
