To hell with ADD

This ADD nonsense really bites.  If you don't know what ADD is then you don't have it and should consider yourself lucky.  Visit http://www.adultadd.com/ to learn about it.

I've been trying to write articles consistently, but this ADD crap is messing with me.  You wouldn't believe the amount of projects I've started and then left hanging.

I will try to write more now that I'm getting linked to some sites.

What the...

I was going to talk about gay marriage today, but this story got my attention more.
http://observer.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,6903,1086397,00.html

"Home Secretary David Blunkett has refused to grant diplomatic immunity to armed American special agents and snipers travelling to Britain as part of President Bush's entourage this week."

"In the case of the accidental shooting of a protester, the Americans in Bush's protection squad will face justice in a British court as would any other visitor, the Home Office has confirmed."

What the hell is Bush doing now.  He wants to shoot (and possibly kill) protesters and get away with it.  They say accidental, but I don't buy that.  No you don't Bush.  This isn't Iraq we're talking about here.  You can't go around shooting people who don't like you.  If that was allowed in this country (or even the world) we would've died out a long time ago.

Hi Kettle, I'm Pot

Does this sound familiar?  Bush said the latest recording of Saddam Hussein is 'propaganda.'  How would he know what it is?  Could it be that he and his crew have done it enough to recognize it when they see it?  Or maybe he knows something we don't.

I have a strong feeling that one of two things have happened to Saddam and Osama:
1) They are dead and the Government doesn't want anyone to know it.
2) They are being well-taken care of.  By this, I mean Bush has either allowed them to escape or put them up in a really nice house/mansion on the beach.

Remember, Bush turned the other way while several Saudis (including bin Laden relatives) to fly immediately after 9/11 when all air-traffic was grounded.

Why would he allow Saddam and Osama to continue to live free?  I see that as long as they are not captured/killed the war can continue and the occupation can secure more oil fields.  Why else would we be there?

I don't understand how our troops being in a country on the other side of the planet can keep us safe here.  If they are keeping us safe and protecting our freedom shouldn't they have a better advantage doing that here in this country.  All they're doing is protecting Bush's interests in Iraq and nothing more.

Don't forget Janklow

Congressman Bill Janklow from South Dakota was charged with second-degree manslaughter, one count of failing to stop at a stop sign, one count of driving "at least" 71 mph in a 55 mph zone, and one count of reckless driving.  These charges were filed on August 29th, 2003.  If he is convicted he could face up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Who here wants to bet he's gotten away with a slap on the wrist and nothing more?

Regardless of the fact that he's a republican, he's still done a terrible thing.  He's taken a man's life because of his recklessness.  He should resign, but hasn't done so yet.  He should be charged and jailed, but I doubt it will ever happen.  Money can buy just about anything, including freedom.

Iraq - the 51st state

You've been warned.  I saw this on the front page of a new magazine some time ago and believe it will happen.  With as much interest that pResident Bush has in Iraq I wouldn't put it past him to declare the country our 51st state.

In his previous radio address a week ago Bush said Iraq or Iraqi 23 times.  He talked throughout the address about Iraqi schools and how they're being rebuilt.  Well, what about us?
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/10/20031018.html

This latest address he has said Iraq or Iraqi atleast 21 times.  In both addresses he has not said a single thing about this country.  It's all about Iraq.  This only completely confirms my suspicions all along that we went there for the oil.

Bush, you need to quit playing in Iraq and come back to this country and solve our problems.  And don't give me this nonsense about how a stable Iraq is in our best interest.  We were doing just fine while Saddam was running his country.  We were doing quite well until you came along.

How is it in our best interest to have a stable Iraq?  What will we gain from it?  The only thing I see is that we'll gain oil.  We won't be safer because al Qaeda is not based there.  Osama bin Laden is still on the loose.  North Korea is still threatening nuclear weapons.  Having a stable Iraq will not solve these problems.

I have this simple question:  If North Korea and Iraq were still the same, but North Korea had the oil.  Which country would have we gone after?  Anyone who decides to answer this message should only answer with the name of the country; not some lengthy five-minute long babbling about this and that.  Just the country name and nothing more.  I will have a poll availabie once I find out how to place one.

Now, you keep talking about that country and the progress we're making there, but what about here?  What kind of progress is being made here?  How many new jobs have been created?  Were any new jobs created?

Let her die...

Here I am, after a long break (like I needed one) from writing.  This i my opinion on the situation concerning Terri Schiavo.

As far as I'm concerned no one should have to live like that.  What can she possibly do?  We know she can't eat on her own, she can't speak, she can't move, she probably can't think.  She is a vegetable!

I, myself would never want to live if I were in her situation.  What can I possibly do in a state like that?  What does her family expect her to do?  Are they expecting a miracle?  They've been waiting for 13 years; if a miracle was coming it should've definately been here by now.

I just can't understand why anyone would want to prolong a life that is basically not a life.  But then, these are Christians here.

I'm not against God or Jesus.  I'm against most of their followers.  I'm against people who force their religion and views on others.  I'm against people who selfishly do things to others without concern for their safety or even their freewill.

You may say that I'm forcing my opinion on you right now by writing this here.  Well, no.  I didn't tell you that you had to read this.  And there's absolutely nothing stopping you from leaving this page.

Now, I say this whole thing is the doing of Christians because they're coming up on election time in Florida.  What a better way to get votes than to have a story to pull the community together and have a hero to come in and save the day.  That hero is Governor Jeb Bush and he's likely up for re-election.  I don't know for certain if he is running, but this is all too convenient (sp).

One real question I have is did she really tell her husband she wouldn't want to live that way?  If she did say this then her family is not respecting her wishes.  If she did say this then they are keeping her alive for some reason other than for her to live.  That's not right!

Well, if she did a Living Will I'm sure she wouldn't be in this situation.  And if she can think I'll bet she's kicking herself left and right for not writing one.

Remember the Monument?

http://demsonline.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=42

Here above is a different perspective on what happened in Alabama when Judge Roy Moore threw a fit and brought attention to his monument he paid for and snuck in.

Don't get me wrong here.  I'm all for religion.  There's got to be something to all this amd how everything was created.  But, who knows for sure which religion is the true religion of God or whatever the Creator of the Universe is?  For all we know every religion on Earth could be wrong.  And it could be that there is no Creator and everything just kind of happened on it's own.  Again, no one knows for certain and it will probably be that way until the Creator shows himself to us in his true form.

I have my own beliefs on religion and who the Creator is, but this is not the place for such things as I set up this site for political purposes, not religious.

Now, back to the article.  To me, Judge Moore was wrong to place that monument there in the first place.  Not because it only supports one religion.  Not because it's his religion.  And not because he's trying to force his religion on others.  I say he's wrong because he snuck it into the building at night.  If he's so proud of it then why did he sneak it inside?  I would've had a big event planned for the installation.  He snuck it in.  He must not think too highly of God to go sneaking him into a public building.

A comment was posted on this blog about my bashing Bush.  Well, it just got worse.  Check out the two links above and spread the word.  If Clinton can get grilled for having sex with that Intern then why is Bush exempt from such things?

California debate

The debate last night had to be most entertaining I've seen yet.  Arianna Huffington was the clown of the show.  She seemed determined to cut Arnold Schwarzenegger down any way she could.  Instead of answering the questions put to her she insisted on making comments about how he treats women and makes $20,000,000 violent movies.  Grow up Arianna, you don't get votes bybeating on your opponents.

Schwarzenegger made some very good points and talked a lot better than I thought he would.  I figured he'd be the clown of the show, but he pulled through and came up on top of a CNN poll on their site.  Asking who won the debate Schwarzenegger got first with 57% and Bustamante at second with 18%.

I, myself, began to side with Senator Tom McClintock.  Imagine that, a Democrat agreeing with a Republican.  Yes, weirder things have happened before and they'll likely happen again.  He made the most sense to me out of the entire group.  Especially on illegal immigrants.

Peter Camejo didn't make much sense to me.  He acted too much like Huffington and that got me to start ignoring him.

Cruz Bustamante made some sense to me, but I just didn't care for his comments except for one.  At one point Huffington was mummbling about something (I say this because I wasn't paying attention to her) and all Bustamante would say is, "yes Arianna, yes Arianana."  It was like he was saying, "we don't care.  Shut up or go away."

Homeland

Is it me or does anyone else think of 'fatherland' when they hear 'homeland'?  If we're not careful we could be saying Fuhrer instead of President.

I don't really know why, but I don't like the word 'homeland' when referring to the United States.  Bush no doubt came up with the word 'homeland'.  And remember that this is the same man that once said 'there ought to be limits to freedom.'  He also talked on three different occasions about being a dictator.

You say you don't believe what Buzzflash or I say about this, well watch it for yourself.

Limits to freedom, eh?  Does that sound like democracy and the American way?  That sounds like something Hitler would say.  So, the next time you see Bush you know how to greet him properly.
